UK Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) for Entry to the United Kingdom
As of April 2025, all visitors to the UK, except British and Irish citizens, will require an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA). This digital authorization is mandatory for nationals of countries that do not require a visa. The ETA requirement will be implemented in two phases:
- Non-European Nationals : Eligible travelers can apply from 27 November 2024 and will need an ETA starting 8 January 2025.
- European Nationals : Eligible travelers can apply from 5 March 2025 and will need an ETA starting 2 April 2025.
